How to Do Basic Yo-Yo Combos
Here are a few tips to help you learn Basic Yo-Yo Combos:
- Start slowly; you can add speed later.
- Every now and then, take the string off your finger and untwist it.
- Always throw the yo-yo from a Breakaway, not a Front Style throw.
Which Yo-Yo Should You Use for Advanced Tricks?
For advanced tricks, an unresponsive yo-yo is the best choice. Unlike beginner yo-yos, it won't return with a tug. Instead, it returns with a so-called Bind. This allows it to spin for much longer and handle more complex tricks.
Features of Unresponsive Yo-Yos
- Long spin time (Sleeper)
- Greater stability and performance
- Returns using the Bind trick
- Suitable for competitions
