Problems with yoyo

It may happen that the yoyo does not spin, returns when it should not or simply does not work as it should.

First you need to find out if you have a suitable yoyo, we recommend the yoyos that we sell in our e-shop. If you have the right yoyo, but it still doesn't work, the fault may be the string, bearing or pads.

1. String - First check if there is a knot on the string or bearing. It may need to be untied. The string can also get between the bearing and the yoyo, in which case you need to unscrew the yoyo, pull out the string, screw the yoyo and then put the string back on.

2. The most common problem is the bearing.  Some dirt, dust or dirt can get into the bearing and the yoyo will not behave as it should. It will need to be cleaned. Don't worry, this is completely normal and sooner or later it will happen to most bearings. To clean the bearing, we recommend watching this video.

3. The pads (rubber rings next to the bearing) can also be to blame, thanks to which the yoyo returns and spins. Once in a while (2-3 months of yoyoing), the pads need to be replaced. Just find out which ones fit your yoya (in most cases these are narrow YYF pads) and stick them on instead of the old ones as a sticker.
