Stop & Go

The Stop and Go is a legendary yoyo trick that every good yoyoer should know. After throwing the Sleeper, continue to Undermount, bring both hands together and prepare to catch the yoyo between your palms. Once you are ready, jerk both hands upwards and catch the yoyo.

Once you catch the yoyo, do not move it or your hands, jerk your right hand downwards, but keep your left hand up and be careful not to let the string fall off. The yoyo should spin again, and eventually you just need to jerk it upwards and return the yoyo to your hand.
