Petr "Peťan" Kavka started yoyoing in 2006 after being introduced to the hobby by his scout leader. He immediately fell in love with yoyoing and quickly became an active member of the Czech yoyo community, attending regular meetups and competing in every contest he could.

Together with his friends, he co-founded SLUSNY with the vision of creating a welcoming place where yoyo players could meet, practice, and share their passion. What started as a small community project has since grown into the largest yoyo shop and community in the Czech Republic, and Peťan remains one of the driving forces behind it.

From the very beginning, he competed in both the 1A and 5A (Freehand) divisions. His greatest achievements came in 5A, where he won the Czech National X-Division title for the first time in 2007 and went on to claim the national championship more than ten times. Internationally, he became a four-time European Champion in 5A and also won the Czech National Championship in the 1A division.

Unlike most of the original SLUSNY team, Peťan has never stepped away from competitive yoyoing. He still competes every year and consistently finishes among the top players at the Czech National Championship. At SLUSNY, he oversees the daily operation of the shop, packs customer orders, creates videos, and helps produce content for the community.

Outside of yoyoing, he enjoys analog photography. Even so, yoyoing has long since become more than just a hobby—it has become his life.
