Forward Pass

For Forward Pass, catch the yoyo just like you would throw a Sleeper, just place your hand along your body and turn it with your palm facing forward. Then throw the yoyo in front of you, once it is at the end of the string, turn your hand and with a slight jerk bring it back into your hand. Don't be afraid to put a little force into the throw, the yoyo needs to fly a little to be able to handle it and come back. It also helps if you don't throw the yoyo straight in front of you, but release it earlier and let it unwind from below, so the yoyo describes a quarter circle. The yoyo is much better and easier to catch if your hand is palm up and the yoyo falls into it from above. Moreover, the yoyo caught in this way is already in the right position for the next throw.
