To master this trick well, you need to be really good at the Magic Drop. When you do the Magic Drop, it is important to hit the yoyo onto the string that does not come from the yoyo, but which is tied to your finger. Then you twist your right index finger so that it points towards you.

Be careful, at this stage the string can easily fall off, so do the finger twist very carefully. You can even hold the string on your finger for a moment with your thumb. With your left index finger, you hit both strings in front of you and the yoyo will sit on the one closest to you. Now you release the loop that is always at the end of both fingers, and you are in the Trapeze.

Congratulations, you have just mastered one of the most difficult basic tricks!

Which yoyo should you use for advanced tricks?

For advanced tricks, an unresponsive yoyo is the best choice. Unlike beginner yoyos it does not come back on a tug – it returns with a trick called the Bind. Thanks to that it can spin much longer and handle more difficult tricks.

Features of unresponsive yoyos

  • Long spin time (Sleeper)
  • Higher stability and performance
  • Yoyo returns with the Bind trick
  • Great for competitions
