Petr Kavka will teach you the Ping-Pong trick. This trick consists of making a knot on the string, then quickly throwing the yoyo over it (it resembles a ping pong ball), and as soon as you want to end the trick, you pull hard and the knot unties, because it is a “magic” knot.

When you throw the yoyo into the trapeze, from which you then make the yoyo jump, you have to throw the yoyo towards you, not forward.

Which yoyo should you use for advanced tricks?

For advanced tricks, an unresponsive yoyo is the best choice. Unlike beginner yoyos it does not come back on a tug – it returns with a trick called the Bind. Thanks to that it can spin much longer and handle more difficult tricks.

Features of unresponsive yoyos

  • Long spin time (Sleeper)
  • Higher stability and performance
  • Yoyo returns with the Bind trick
  • Great for competitions
