DV888 – a metal classic for beginner yoyers

The DV888 is based on the legendary 888 and DV8 models by Buzzon Industries. It features a smooth beadblasted finish, making it great for long grinds and, thanks to its shape, also for solid sleep times.

The DV888 comes with a Half SPEC bearing and is responsive (a beginner-friendly yoyo that returns with a tug), which makes it a great choice for beginner yoyers. It’s a solid metal yoyo at a very good price, available in several nice colorways.

It now also features fingerspin hubs, allowing you to easily try tricks like DNA or other fingerspin combinations. (The video below shows the previous version without these hubs.)

Be ready for any situation

Things like strings, bearings or response pads (the pads inside the yoyo that make it return) naturally wear out over time and will eventually need to be replaced. Some yoyos also need a small drop of oil from time to time to keep them working properly.
