Magic Drop

Magic Drop is a very tricky and problematic trick. However, you need to know how to do it, you will use it in tricks such as Shockwave or Kamikaze. The most important thing in this trick is to wrap the string around your wrist so that when you throw it, the string can "jump" out of the yo-yo and do the Magic Drop. We call this trick "pistol" in technical terms, because on your throwing hand you bend all the fingers except the thumb and index finger. You take the string from the front with your thumb and gradually wrap it around your index finger and your whole hand. Then you swing the yo-yo so that it goes under your right hand and around your whole right hand and ends up on the string. In doing all this, the string also has to "jump" out of the yo-yo, which is definitely the hardest thing about this whole trick. Here are a few tips to help you with this:

1) try to stretch the loop on your left finger a little with your left hand

2) use the "pistol" to try to keep the string around your thumb and spread both fingers apart as much as possible

3) practice, practice! This is a very tricky trick that you will definitely not be able to do after a few tries
