Ema started yoyoing in spring 2024, when she was nine years old. She discovered yoyoing through her classmates, who had started yoyoing themselves and sometimes let her try their yoyos. She enjoyed it so much that she asked for a yoyo for her name day, and her grandmother bought her her first one. Soon after, she came to a lesson at SLUSNY with her classmates, where Peťan taught her the basics and helped her learn her first tricks.

Since then, yoyoing has become a part of her life, and Ema has also started taking part in competitions. Competitions are what she enjoys most about yoyoing – she loves that they are a whole day full of fun, friends and yoyoing. Her main goal is simple: to keep enjoying yoyoing.

Outside of yoyoing, Ema has been competing in disco dance for three years. She also enjoys spending time with her family and her dog, and listening to pop music.

Her favourite yoyoers include Hajime Miura, Petr Kavka and Miri Kim. And her favourite food? Definitely sushi.
