Eiffel Tower

Eiffel Tower is a classic picture trick that creates a shape inspired by the famous tower. It follows a similar idea to Robin Hood, where the main focus is shaping the string and controlling the yoyo with your hands.

How to do Eiffel Tower

Start the same way as with the Robin Hood trick. Once you have the loop in your hand, rotate it so the string crosses over itself. This will create a triangle shape near your left hand.

Building the tower

Use your left index finger to grab the string coming from the yoyo and pull it through the triangle. Release all the other strings from your left hand except the one on your index finger. To create the final Eiffel Tower shape, rotate your right hand so your palm faces you and place your middle finger onto the string coming from the yoyo. And you’re done 🙂

Which yoyo should you start with?

The best choice for beginners is a responsive yoyo – a yoyo for beginners that automatically returns with a tug. You don’t need to worry about complicated tricks or techniques yet – just focus on throwing, spinning, and bringing the yoyo back.

Features of responsive yoyos

  • Simple and intuitive control
  • Returns with a classic tug
  • Reliable and durable construction
