Wrist Whip GT Slackicide
Before this trick, you should definitely know the Green Triangle, the Wrist Whip and the Slackicide. If you can handle these tricks, just combine them and you have a trick that will get every yoyo buddy, because it combines 3 difficult elements in 1 trick. The whole trick starts in the Wrist Mount, then you swing the yoyo to the other hand and pull the string out of your wrist, a loop (an eyelet – the Slackicide) will appear under the yoyo and you catch it with your left hand.
If you do everything right, you should be in the Green Triangle. Just be careful: when you practise the trick and don't catch the loop, you will get a knot around the bearing every time. It's annoying, but the trick can be practised quite safely.
Which yoyo should you use for advanced tricks?
For advanced tricks, an unresponsive yoyo is the best choice. Unlike beginner yoyos it does not come back on a tug – it returns with a trick called the Bind. Thanks to that it can spin much longer and handle more difficult tricks.
Features of unresponsive yoyos
- Long spin time (Sleeper)
- Higher stability and performance
- Yoyo returns with the Bind trick
- Great for competitions
