Bubi started yo-yoing in 2005, when he and his older brother Honza got their first yo-yos from Henrys. Together, they discovered everything this little toy could do and gradually became part of the yo-yo community, where they met their first yo-yo friends.

A turning point came in 2008, when Bubi joined the Duncan crew. This motivated him to train even harder and aim for better results at competitions. His most successful period came in 2011, when he became both European Champion and Czech National Champion.

In 2013, another important change came – Bubi joined the C3yoyodesign team. This collaboration resulted in two signature yo-yos, Apparition and Robot, which remain among his best-known models to this day.

Today, Bubi works at SLUSNY Yoyo Shop, where, alongside running the shop, he focuses on photography, video production and creating content for the yo-yo community. Since 2024, he has been the chairman of the Czech YoYo Association, where he primarily focuses on organizing yo-yo competitions. In 2025, he was the main organizer of the World YoYo Contest.

Outside of yo-yoing, he plays the piano and loves hockey, space and chess. He studied Multimedia at the Prague University of Economics and Business.

His favorite music is the soundtrack from The Lord of the Rings, while Interstellar is his favorite movie.
