US Nationals 2026: Thomas Rajan wins his first US title 🇺🇸

Thomas Rajan wins US Nationals 2026 with the Olympus yo-yo 🏆

The US National Yo-Yo Contest 2026 is over, and this year once again showed why it belongs among the most prestigious yo-yo competitions in the world. In Las Vegas, the best American yoyoers competed, and after strong performances throughout the weekend, Thomas Rajan took the title of US National Champion. Chandler Steele finished second, and Hunter Feuerstein placed third.

Thomas performed his winning freestyle with his signature colorway of the Olympus, which will soon also be available at the SLUSNY shop. If you are looking for a modern competitive yo-yo, this is definitely something to look forward to.

Top 3 freestyles

Thomas Rajan delivered an extremely clean freestyle, including elements that clearly show influence from his “mentor” and former World Champion Gentry Stein. It’s clear that his sponsorship with YoyoChampion is helping him improve, and Gentry is guiding him in the right direction. Congratulations on his first US National title!

Chandler from team UNPRLD delivered a very impressive freestyle based on the results — he dominated the evaluation categories by a significant margin (3.25 points) and even scored a perfect 10/10 in originality, which is extremely rare. Unfortunately, at the time of writing, his freestyle is not publicly available yet, so we will have to wait to watch it.

Third place went to Hunter from YoyoFactory. His freestyle had a great vibe and strong tricks, but a few misses prevented him from taking the US title this time.
