Czechia Has Two World Championship Silver Medalists 🇨🇿🥈

The Czech yoyo scene has had an amazing World Yo-Yo Contest. The Czech team is bringing home two silver medals from the World Championships in Himeji, Japan. Jakub Dolejš finished second in the main 1A category, while Kateřina Halíková took silver in the Women's category.

The World Championships took place from August 13 to 16 and featured more than 500 competitors from 28 countries. After last year's championship in Prague, the world's yoyo elite headed to Japan this time.

Jakub Dolejš Is a World Championship Silver Medalist Again 🥈

Jakub once again proved that he belongs among the absolute world elite. In the final of the main 1A category, he scored 93.1 points and took second place. South Korea's Mir Kim won with 98.1 points, while American Hunter Feuerstein finished third with 93.0 points.

The battle for second place was incredibly close, with just one tenth of a point making the difference. Jakub finished only 0.1 points ahead of Feuerstein.

This is already Jakub's second World Championship silver medal. He first finished second in 2024 in Cleveland, USA. Just like this year, the only yoyer ahead of him was Mir Kim.
