French Yoyo Nationals 2026

French Nationals 2026 – record attendance and a new generation of yoyers

This year’s French Nationals was one of the biggest and most energetic editions the event has ever seen. The venue stayed packed throughout the entire day, with record attendance and the highest number of contestants in the competition’s history.

The event ran from 2 PM to 9 PM with almost no interruptions, while four different TV crews covered the contest during the day. One of the biggest highlights this year was the new generation of young yoyers stepping on stage and delivering impressive freestyles.

  • Highest attendance and contestant count so far
  • 4 TV crews covering the event throughout the day
  • Competition running from 2 PM to 9 PM with minimal downtime
  • Strong participation across all divisions
  • Outstanding performances from the younger generation of yoyers

Williams Thamrong secured first place in the 1A division once again, although the competition is getting closer every year and the skill gap at the top continues to shrink.

One of the standout performances came from Nael Peron, who reached 4th place in 1A at only 8–9 years old. Another strong name to watch is Younes from Morocco, rapidly climbing through the Open division.
