Maty got into yoyoing in September, when he started practising with a non-professional yoyo he brought home from vacation. He quickly got hooked and bought his first proper yoyo – the YoyoFactory Shooting Star from SLUSNY.

Since then, his progress has been incredibly fast. Maty spends a lot of time at our store, where he practises every day, learns new tricks, and constantly pushes himself to improve. Even though he has only been yoyoing for a short time, he has already become a member of our SLUSNY Youngsters team.

What Maty enjoys most about yoyoing is the community. He loves how yoyoers help each other, share their knowledge, and learn new tricks together. His biggest goal is to one day reach the finals of the World YoYo Contest in the 1A Pro division and become part of the Empathy Team.

Outside of yoyoing, Maty enjoys sports, with football being his favourite. He attends Lyčkovo náměstí Elementary School. His other favourites include burgers, the movie Odysseia, and music by Apashe.

His five favourite yoyoers are Matyáš Držmíšek, Kim Min Joon, Ryuichi Nakamura, Tony Šec, and Woochan Park.
