Mach 5

Mach 5 is another great trick that starts from the Split Bottom Mount. You drive the yoyo under the left hand from the front for more than one turn, exactly like Peťan does.

Taut strings mean a stable spin

When you get to the point where you start spinning with your hands, the yoyo will sleep beautifully in the middle. At this point, the most important thing is to keep the strings taut and start spinning with both hands at the same time and at the same speed. It takes a while to practise, but you will soon get the hang of it.

Which yoyo should you use for advanced tricks?

For advanced tricks, an unresponsive yoyo is the best choice. Unlike beginner yoyos it does not come back on a tug – it returns with a trick called the Bind. Thanks to that it can spin much longer and handle more difficult tricks.

Features of unresponsive yoyos

  • Long spin time (Sleeper)
  • Higher stability and performance
  • Yoyo returns with the Bind trick
  • Great for competitions
