The Horizontal Finger Grind is currently one of the most popular and most modern tricks. Spin the yoyo like a UFO, i.e. into a horizontal position, let it spin on the index finger of your left hand and then bind the yoyo back into your hand with a slack.

Which yoyo should you use for advanced tricks?

For advanced tricks, an unresponsive yoyo is the best choice. Unlike beginner yoyos it does not come back on a tug – it returns with a trick called the Bind. Thanks to that it can spin much longer and handle more difficult tricks.
