The Gondola is Robick's favorite trick. It's pretty easy to master, but it takes a bit of practice to make the Gondola look really good. Start in Houdini Mount, then loop the loop from your left thumb forward and grab it onto your left index finger. On your left index finger, thread the string through the loop and you'll end up with a 1.5 Red Triangle. Ride the Red Triangle towards your right hand and when you're all the way to your right hand, let go of the string and you'll end up with a classic Red Triangle. From there, ride to the other side, to your left hand. When you're all the way to the left, you can let go and reel everything in.

Which yoyo should you use for advanced tricks?

For advanced tricks, an unresponsive yoyo is the best choice. Unlike beginner yoyos it does not come back on a tug – it returns with a trick called the Bind. Thanks to that it can spin much longer and handle more difficult tricks.

Features of unresponsive yoyos

  • Long spin time (Sleeper)
  • Higher stability and performance
  • Yoyo returns with the Bind trick
