Freestyle yoya is divided into responsive and non-responsive. A responsive yoyo will return to your hand after being jerked, and if you are just starting out with yoyos, this is the ideal choice for you.
When to switch to a non-responsive yoyo?
After a few weeks of yoyoing, you can switch to a non-responsive yoyo, which returns with a special Bind trick and comes with more complex tricks.

How to choose a yoyo?

We recommend the following for each yoyo:
- Spare strings: we recommend changing them approximately every 2 hours of yoyoing - with a worn string, there is a risk of breaking and damaging the yoyo.
- Bearings: Is your yoyo bouncing / jamming / just plain naughty? Cleaning the bearing or replacing it with a new one will help. You can find them in our Accessories category.
Can I return my yoyo?
If your first choice of freestyle yoyo doesn't fit, don't worry. You can safely return an undamaged yoyo and together we can find a better one. Remember that a yoyo is still a toy, which is mainly meant to entertain you and not bother you.
