Esíčka are a “repeater” trick, which means you can repeat them over and over again as long as the yoyo keeps spinning.

The trick starts in a 1.5 Mount. Release the loop from your left hand and instead grab the string coming from the tied finger. At that moment, the yoyo leaves the loop and starts spinning around your right index finger. Keep your finger in a small hook position so the string does not escape. After less than one rotation, put your left index finger into the path of the string coming from the yoyo, which will “break” the string.

Continue moving the yoyo until it ends in the mount. Then release the string from your right index finger and you will land in a crossed Trapeze. Untwist it around your right hand and you will get into a normal Trapeze. It takes some practice to make the Esíčka smooth, but it is definitely worth it!

Which yoyo should you use for advanced tricks?

For advanced tricks, an unresponsive yoyo is the best choice. Unlike beginner yoyos it does not come back on a tug – it returns with a trick called the Bind. Thanks to that it can spin much longer and handle more difficult tricks.

Features of unresponsive yoyos

  • Long spin time (Sleeper)
  • Higher stability and performance
  • Yoyo returns with the Bind trick
  • Great for competitions
