Cold Fusion

Cold Fusion is a very beautiful trick from Double or Nothing. You roll the yoyo under with your right hand by hitting it on the top string from below. Then you return to the original position with your right index finger. Now you do the same roll with your left hand, only you do not return to the original position with your finger, but you stay with your hands crossed. Then you release one loop that you have at the end of your right index finger and unroll the yoyo to the left.

Finishing through a 1.5 mount into Trapeze

You then put your right hand in the basic position, but you have to spin the yoyo along with this movement, until you end up in 1.5 mount. Here you wrap the yoyo with one turn to the right. At the end, you just wrap the yoyo twice to the left around your right hand and jump into the Trapeze. Done.

Which yoyo should you use for advanced tricks?

For advanced tricks, an unresponsive yoyo is the best choice. Unlike beginner yoyos it does not come back on a tug – it returns with a trick called the Bind. Thanks to that it can spin much longer and handle more difficult tricks.

Features of unresponsive yoyos

  • Long spin time (Sleeper)
  • Higher stability and performance
  • Yoyo returns with the Bind trick
  • Great for competitions
