Buddha’s Revenge

Buddha's Revenge combines several basic tricks into a nice combo. You need a good Sleeper and the yoyo must be thrown over the Breakaway so that it does not slow down or even stop during the trick.

You start similarly as if you wanted to continue to 1.5 mount, but when the yoyo touches the string from below, you let it fall onto the string below it. Then you continue to the classic 1.5 mount. Then you wrap the yoyo in an arc around both index fingers until it lands under your left index finger from the left.

Then you return the yoyo to the first position by simply wrapping your left index finger around the yoyo. Send the yoyo to 1.5 mount again. Then you unroll the yoyo and return it to your hand. It wasn't that hard, was it?

Which yoyo should you use for advanced tricks?

For advanced tricks, an unresponsive yoyo is the best choice. Unlike beginner yoyos it does not come back on a tug – it returns with a trick called the Bind. Thanks to that it can spin much longer and handle more difficult tricks.

Features of unresponsive yoyos

  • Long spin time (Sleeper)
  • Higher stability and performance
  • Yoyo returns with the Bind trick
  • Great for competitions
