Braintwister

Braintwister is one of the hardest beginner yoyo tricks. It improves your string control and yoyo accuracy while serving as the foundation for many advanced tricks. Once you master it, you'll unlock countless new trick combinations.

How to Do the Braintwister

Start with a Sleeper and enter the Undermount position. Unlike the Stop & Go trick, keep your right hand slightly lower than your left. Take the loop from your left index finger and place it over your right index finger. Then swing the yoyo away from you through the newly created loop.

Releasing the Mount

Once the yoyo finishes its rotation, move your right hand underneath the yoyo. This releases the mount, allowing you to return the yoyo to your hand. One of the best things about the Braintwister is that you can repeat it continuously and, once mastered, even perform it in the opposite direction.
